We are looking forward to meeting with parents/guardians at Parent Teacher Conferences. This is a valuable opportunity for you to connect with your child's teacher(s) and discuss progress. We recognize that some parents may have child care limitations and have to take their children along with them. Parents are asked to closely supervise their children at all times. Due to safety concerns, as our janitors are also working, children should not be left unattended.
We are very lucky to have a number of outside agencies who support our school and students. Some of these agencies will be set up in the lobby Thursday evening at Parent Teacher. For example Schools Plus, Addiction Services, Youth Health Centre, Women's Resource. Please take a moment and learn about some of the services they provide to us.
Our fundraiser is now in and has been given to students for distribution. If you have any issues please contact the school.

There will be poppies available for students to purchase for tomorrows Remembrance Day Service.
This service will begin at 11 AM.
There is a workshop that is currently be organized by the NS Dept of Agriculture staff in conjunction with the CB Regional 4-H program. The focus of the workshop is to further introduce concepts of entrepreneurship and "creating your own future" to youth between 11 and 18 years of age.
We would like to provide you with this information for promotion as you see possible within your school/associated parent groups, etc. so as to reach the maximum number of possible interested students or young entrepreneurs.
Just in time for Christmas shopping, our school library will be hosting a Scholastic Bookfair Nov 17-20th

Nov 18th- buying for grades P-6
Nov 19- buying for grades 7-12
Bookfair will be open to the Public on Thursday evening Nov 19th from 6:00-7:30 and on Friday, Nov.20th from 9:00-12:00 and 1:00-3:00. Thank You in advance for supporting our School Library.
