Last year the grade 9 civics class sponsored by the World Wildlife Federation created a map of the Eastern Shore communities. Julie Adamson; artist and Janet O’Brien; teacher compiled the students works and created a map for display at SMECA. Special thank you to community member Ruth Legge for providing our students with this learning opportunity.
SMECA has teamed up with Ross Screen Print to offer an ONLINE school clothing store! Lots of styles and colours to choose from! Bus Passes
SchoolsPlus seeks to improve the collaboration and coordination of services and programs for children, youth and families. The main goal is to bridge the gap between various community organizations and the schools by connecting students and families in attaining timely and effective services to meet their identified needs. SchoolsPlus supports a number of programs within the schools and community. Referrals come from the School Program Planning Teams, Administration, Families and Students as well as outside agencies.
P-6 were very excited to have Buster the Bus visit SMECA today
He shared his knowledge of bus safety and left some handouts for the students.
