Dear St. Mary’s Education Centre/Academy Families,
Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year!
It is with great excitement and Spartan pride that we welcome our students, families, staff, and entire school community back to St. Mary’s Education Centre/Academy for the 2026/2027 school year. Whether your child is beginning their journey with us in the Pre-primary Program, entering a new grade, or preparing for graduation in Grade 12, we are excited to begin another year of learning, growth and connection together.
There is something truly special about St. Mary’s. We have the opportunity to watch our youngest learners take their first steps into their educational journey while, at the same time, supporting our senior students as they prepare for graduation and their next chapter. This creates a strong sense of community and allows students of all ages to learn from, support, and inspire one another.
As we begin this school year, our focus will continue to be on creating a school where every student feels known, valued and supported. We want our students to be challenged academically, encouraged to discover their strengths, and given opportunities to develop the confidence, skills, and character they need to be successful both in school and beyond.
Our staff have been working hard to prepare for the year ahead, and we are incredibly grateful for the dedication they bring to our students each and every day. We are also grateful to our families for the important role you play in your child's education. When school and home work together, our students benefit enormously.
As we move into this new school year, we encourage our students to be respectful of one another, take risks in their learning, and be proud of who they are and what they can accomplish. To our families, we encourage you to stay connected with us, celebrate your child's successes, and reach out whenever you have questions, concerns, or ideas. We are partners in your child's education.
Most importantly, we want our students to know that St. Mary’s is their school, their community, and a place where they belong. From our youngest learners to our graduating students, each person contributes to what makes our school special.
As an administration team, we are looking forward to the many successes, challenges, celebrations, and memories that the 2026–2027 school year will bring. Thank you for entrusting us with the privilege of educating and supporting your children. We are excited about what we will accomplish together.
